About

A serene river flowing through a forest of tall pine trees, with towering mountains in the distance during dawn or dusk.

‘Looking deeply’ means observing something or someone with so much concentration that the distinction between observer and observed disappears. The result is insight into the true nature of the object.

Before working with leaders and teams, I was an actor - performing for audiences of hundreds, sometimes thousands. My job was to fill the space with presence, shape the most captivating version of the story, and vibe with the audience.

After I earned my masters from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory I spent years of post graduate study training in voice and speech- including a certification in Fitzmaurice Voicework- becoming a master in the art of communication. What’s more, I can break it down into component parts and teach both charisma and communication.

I work with people from all walks of life, helping them attain the voice, authority, warmth, clarity and connection they need to accomplish their goals. My clients range from leaders at Google, the team at Google’s U.S. Accessibility Discovery Center, Columbia Mailman School of Public Health and the American Society for Preventative Oncology to individuals who want to feel more connected, present, and capable of expressing themselves.

I am the co-editor of a forth coming collection of stories and lesson plans from contemporary pedagogues titled Making Things Up: Embodied Lessons in Actor Training.

I was a rock climbing enthusiast until (spoiler it’s an injury) I hurt my shoulder and became an enthusiast of physical therapy instead. I live in an NYC apartment with approximately 60 plants and more books than I have shelves for. I am studying to become a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique because I like how it helps me find presence and ease in my body, and I am a life long student of the fascinating.
