Speakers
Public speaking and Executive Presence
More people fear public speaking than water, the dark, or even spiders (or at least that's what folks say). I get that! All eyes are on you, you’re the one with something to say, and everyone is waiting…
But here’s the thing — you do have something to say. And it matters.
I’ll help you develop the focus, connection, ease, and clarity to ensure that not only are you saying what you want to say, but that it’s coming out how you want to say it — with confidence, presence, and an appropriate passion. People listen when passionate people speak!!
If you have an upcoming speech or presentation I can help you refine your message, polish your materials, and if you have a deck — we’ll make sure it engages rather than overwhelms. Together, we’ll punch up your talking points and make sure your audience hangs on every word!
Whether you’re addressing the board, the funders, or a room full of friends and family, I’ll share actionable tactics to turn up your charisma, warmth, and authority, and turn down your nerves.
You have something important to say. I’ll help you say it clearly, confidently, and memorably.
Interviews and Pitches
They want what you’ve got! Your number one job is to convince the other side of that in this single interaction. It’s not about being the best candidate or having the best product, it’s about giving the right answers to make the people on the other side of the table believe that you are someone they can rely on, that you will make the dream come true, that you are a person they want to spend time and or money on.
The amazing thing is — you might not be the most qualified person applying for this job, or the most successful product seeking the funding — but thankfully it’s not your responsibility to wonder about that! Your job is to know why you would be great and how to articulate that. This is your moment to be personable, prepared, and confident. This is your moment to shine.
People so often come into interviews and undercut themselves or drone on and on while failing to even answer the interviewer’s questions.
I help you prepare to highlight your best qualities, connect with the other humans in the room (IRL or virtual), find a point of common ground if you can, share a bit of excitement, and then leave knowing you were well prepared with the best of what you have to offer.
What people say
Jillian’s coaching was super helpful. The market is so competitive, I always used to struggle in job interviews. I ended up rambling and missing the points interviewers would want to hear. Jillian helped me organize my thoughts and structure my delivery, then we practiced until it felt natural when I interviewed for my current job. I definitely recommend working with her!

Gender-Affirming
Voice Work
You deserve to have a voice that tells the story you want it to.
All voices are constructed. From the moment we’re born, we’re learning how to use our voices to connect, communicate, and express who we are. Some of what we learn is gendered—and whether you’re calling out to a friend or answering the phone, your voice is often the very first impression someone has of you.
We are all constantly constructing and evolving our identities. If you’re on a gender journey and want your voice to reflect that, I can help.
When I teach gender-affirming voice, we work holistically—with the whole self in communication. Voice, with a capital V, means taking everything you have to say and sending it into the world in a way that feels true to you. It’s about connecting with others from your most authentic self—the you you’re becoming.
Voice is made up of so much: sound, tone, resonance, movement, and nonverbal expression—and all of these can have gendered dimensions. For some people, exploring voice is about joy; for others, it’s about safety, for some those are the same and still others might have different reasons. There’s no single “right” way to perform gender. Together, we can explore the pieces, mix and match them, and shape a voice that feels fully yours.
You deserve culturally competent, affirming voice work. I am a queer ciswoman who lives in community, relationship and solidarity with trans people. Please inquire about my sliding scale and scholarships for trans clients (whether to underwrite or receive).
You’re in charge of your vocal journey. I won’t condescend to you, dictate your goals, or assume what you want from your voice. I’ll listen to your desires, design exercises to support them, check in about your progress, and offer kind, constructive feedback as your needs evolve.
